Even if severely damaged by the 2016 earthquake, Norcia always remains an important part in the history of Umbria.
It is no longer possible to enter its churches and many seriously damaged buildings but a visit to this city allows you to grasp the true spirit of the Apennine people. The desire to be reborn and rebuild is tangible and a walk through its streets means physically bringing solidarity to this beloved village of ours.
